The CandC Photography assignment for us all was to photograph eggs. EGGS? It was a challenge, first to find time to go to town and buy a white egg, and then to find ways to make it vaguely interesting. I discovered that I really enjoy color photography more than black and white, that my creative juices are somewhat pedestrian, and that backgrounds and lighting are everything. Not too surprising, after all.

but really my favorites were taken outdoors,
and I snuck in a little photo of the redbud in bloom, just to remind myself that spring seems to be arriving at last!

I think your b/w grid has some really lovely shadows and textures. And your brown egg shots are fun and creative! Nice work!!!
So interesting...I really, really like your b&w imagery and the montage you created! Very nice! Your color images are great...I'm partial to the garden shots! Good Job!
Your white on white grid is really good, and I especially love the shot inthe sedum. Really good shots!
I agree, it was a fantastic exercise in learning about light and shadow, color and background. Really nice texture with the black and white. And the brown egg looks like it was enjoying its garden tour.
Oh my goodness!!! The egg with the Chicks and Hen succulent....that is brilliant!!!

great shots...looks like you had fun with this first assignment
your grid is amazing! oh, the black and white is fab!
I love your black and white collage. The contrast and shadowing are great, especially the one in the center with the shadow almost at the center perfectly, and the one on the right with abstract shadowing cast across the shell. Lovely pics.

I love the white egg with the wonderful lights and shadows. The one with the stripes on them is my favorite.
I love the shot of the egg against the blue vase background. Am also impressed with out creative you were in coming up with kitchen shots- scales turned around to produce interesting reflections was a great idea and turned out really well.
All participants in such a different picture - interesting and beautiful.
I like your b/w mosaic the best. Nice shots in there.
I do like the white on white grid, they are all great shots.

i don't know -- i think you nailed the black and white shots, and the collage could easily stand on its own as wonderful abstract art. nice work.
Love your black and white!!!
good job. I liked your egg turned on end on the top of a vase.
Beautiful grid with lovely high contrast images! Nice textures with the succulents.
Love your b&w grid - beautiful different textured backgrounds! And your egg in the great outdoors :-)
I really like the bottom right egg of the b&W collage. Sorry I'm commenting so late.
